In the process of anti-corrosion construction of oil and gas pipeline, the surface treatment of seamless steel pipe is one of the key factors to determine the service life of pipeline anticorrosion, which is the premise of whether the anticorrosion layer and the seamless steel pipe can be firmly combined. By the research of professional organizations, the life of the anticorrosion layer depends on the type of coating, coating quality and construction environment and other factors, the surface treatment of seamless steel pipe on the life of the anticorrosion layer accounts for about 50% of the impact, therefore, should be in strict accordance with the specification of the anticorrosion layer on the surface of the seamless steel pipe, and constantly improve the surface treatment of the seamless steel pipe.


 1, cleaning: the use of solvents, emulsions to clean the steel surface to remove oil, grease, dust, lubricants and similar organic matter, but it can not remove the steel surface rust, oxide skin, solder, etc., so in the antifouling operations only as an auxiliary means.


 2, pickling: generally use chemical and electrolytic two methods to do the pickling process, pipeline corrosion only chemical pickling, can remove the oxide skin, rust, old coatings, and sometimes can be used as a sandblast rust reprocessing. Although chemical cleaning can make the surface achieve a certain degree of cleanliness and roughness, but its anchor pattern is shallow, and it is easy to cause pollution to the surrounding environment.


 3, Tool descaling: mainly use wire brush and other tools to polish the steel surface, which can remove the loose oxide skin, rust, welding slag and so on. Manual tools to remove rust can reach Sa2 level, power tools to remove rust can reach Sa3 level, if the surface of the steel attached to a solid iron oxide, tools to remove rust is not ideal, not up to the depth of the anchor pattern required for anti-corrosion construction.


 4, jet descaling: jet descaling is driven by a high-power motor jet blades rotating at high speed, so that steel shot, steel sand, wire segments, minerals and other abrasives in the motor under the action of the powerful centrifugal force on the surface of the straight-seam steel pipe jet treatment, not only can completely remove the oxides, rust and dirt, and straight-seam steel pipe in the abrasive impact and friction under the action of the force, but also to achieve the desired uniformity of the roughness.


After spray descaling, it can not only expand the physical adsorption on the surface of the pipe, but also enhance the mechanical adhesion between the anticorrosion layer and the surface of the pipe. Therefore, jet descaling is an ideal descaling method for pipe anti-corrosion. Generally speaking, shot peening descaling is mainly used for the inner surface treatment of the pipe, and shot peening descaling is mainly used for the outer surface treatment of the straight seam steel pipe. The production process should strictly require the descaling related technical indexes, to prevent the ground sub-damage to the straight seam steel pipe caused by operational errors. After the descaling of the straight seam steel pipe, the appearance of the product will be smoother than before descaling, and the descaling of the straight seam steel pipe is a frequently used technology in the steel pipe industry.
